Stuart leads the Global Indirect Procurement team at Zebra Technologies. He is known in the procurement community for his expertise and focus on delivering exceptional client service by transforming people, process and technology.
He is admired for his approachability, persuasiveness, strategic vision and results orientation; he is a strong believer in relationship building.
Zebra’s indirect procurement organization is redefining the value it provides to its customers with a “customer first” perspective through a focus on developing his team’s capabilities, increased and better use of technology and leveraging the shared services centers.
Previously, Stuart was the Head of Procurement for North America for ThyssenKrupp North America.
Stuart had executive accountability for leading the North American procurement organization including corporate governance, compliance of Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) and managing all North American indirect spend.
Under his leadership, the Indirect Procurement team delivered $200 million in savings in his first three years.
Sr. Manager, Global Indirect Procurement Systems & Operations | Zebra Technologies
Ammar leads the Global Indirect Procurement Systems and Operations team at Zebra Technologies Corporation setting the policies and processes and implementing and maintaining the systems and tools that enable all sourcing and purchasing activities.
He came to Zebra in 2016 from Walgreens where he managed categories ranging from store fixtures to furniture and appliances to commercial refrigeration and HVAC.
After pursuing his Masters of Mechanical Engineering at MIT, he completed his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
Outside of work, you can find Ammar spending time with his family, tinkering with this new gadget or that new application, and trying to find a way to get in on the Beta for autonomous vehicles.

Stan Garber is the president and co-founder of Scout RFP.
He got his start in entrepreneurship early, founding ONOSYS while he was still a student.
His experiences at ONOSYS, which was acquired by LivingSocial in 2012, made him acutely aware of the need to make enterprise commerce faster, safer, and more transparent, which led him to co-found Scout in 2014.
Stan holds a degree in Finance and Management from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.
Outside of Scout, you can find Stan cooking, running, and traveling, plus being thankful he didn't become an investment banker.
