In 1921, a small dedicated group of Purchasing Agents met in downtown Houston to form the Purchasing Agents Association of Houston. During the next 90 years, this group has grown tremendously to become one of the largest in the nation. The foundations that were established and expanded during this time have guaranteed our association's existence well into the 21st Century.

Regular Member (Member of ISM Houston and ISM in Tempe AZ
Annual Dues: $190.00 (Effective 09/01/12) ISM Admin Fee: $ 20.00 (One time fee charged to new members)
ISM customer service will pro-rate your dues depending on when you join oue association. ISM-Houston membership runs on a calendar year basis begining on January 1st.
Regular membership includes benefits from, both ISM in Tempe AZ and ISM- Houston. Houston as the local ISM affiliate offers its members volunteer and leadership opportunities, professional development opportunities, valuable contacts with peers including local networking, educational events, certification preparation and opportunities to accrue CEHs for recertification while taking advantage of member pricing. While most people select an affiliated organization based on their location, non-geographic, industry-based affiliates are available as well. The regular membership category is by far the most popular option, comprising 99% of our total membership in Houston and 85% of the total membership nationally.

Associate / Affiliate Member (Member of ISM-Houston only)
Annual Dues: $ 70.00 (No additional admin fees)
Associate members are members ISM-Houston only.
Current ISM Corporate Direct Members who are already members of our national organization can elect to join our local affiliate and support our local events and program schedule here in Houston.
Student Members must be full time students with (9 credit hours) and must include their current roster with their application. Membership level is the same as a regular member while a full time student.
ISM strongly encourages students and academics interested in supply management to join the association. This category offers dues-free membership to full-time students and academics who meet certain criteria.
ISM-Houston offers at the time of joining or upon membership renewal the opportunity to prepay in advance for the 9 General Dinner Meetings for the calendar year. The normal cost of $261.00 is offered for $210.00 under the prepaid dinner option. This program is non-transferable between members and is non-refundable for missed meetings. Reservations are still required for prepaid members to assist us with our meeting planning.
ISM-Houston will invoice all participating per-paid dinner option members on November 15, 2012 for calendar year 2013 prepaid dinners.

ISM-Houston Meeting Information: 9 General Meetings Per Year
When: Second Tuesday (No meetings July, August and December)
Time: 5:00 p.m. Pre-meeting ( Sept., Oct, Nov., Jan., Feb., Mar., April, May, Jun. New member orientation meetings will be scheduled throughout the year and held during the pre meeting time. This schedule will be announced in advance on our associations website and communications to our members..
